TweetBro, Trust me, I hadn't been drunk in months.... last night i slipped.... Got hammerd and DAMN do i feel like a worthless peice of shit today! Alcohol does so many things to your body, Dehydrates the hell out of your muscles, Then if you throw up on top of that it leads to severe dehydration, the empty calories, Reckless behavior, Extra strain to the liver which is a serious problem especialy if taking Orals, I could go on for ever...
Damnit, i'm kicking myself in the ass for last night now!!
Yep, thats right, i'm a monkey and you're not.
TweetJuicemonkey,
Life is Life....enjoy it.......I know what you mean though on feeling like shit the after you drink............I NEVER drink unless I am on holiday not just on worthless nights......
I agree with Monkeys post 100%
EVERYTHING I SAY IS ONLY AN OPINION.

TweetIf you really want to see the results it has on protein synthesis you'll have to look up the studies (there are some around).
The main problem with alchohol in my opinion is the next day, your tired, your hungover, you don't eat, and generally you don't train as hard if at all. One thing I've learned over the years at least for me is that alchohol is my biggest enemy when I'm trying to bulk up. The two just don't go together.
Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence.
