TweetHow is their diet? Weight gains can be limited without proper eating, even with large cycles.
TweetAs you might know I am currently sitting on some gear because of some problems I am having, but the gear I am sitting on is raising some questions. I know 4 guys using the same gear from the same guy, all running some form of test and nothing else. either cyp or enan. none of them have gained any weight, but all have gained strength. the doses range from 400mg/week, for a guy weighing in at 255, to 750/week for a guy weighing 230. these are not fat people. im not asking if the gear is real, have already had this discussion, just wondering if any of you have ever experienced anything like this?

TweetSo.. what type and brand of gear is in question here?
RIP BigJim33 & GearedUp: You are sorely missed my friends.
Hindsight is always 20/20. But looking back it's still a bit fuzzy.
TweetHow far into the cycle are they?
I eat at least 6 times a day to build my body
I pray at least 6 times a day to build my soul
TweetIf they have been on it for a while though they gotta be gaining something size wise (lean muscle). The legal purpose of AS is to give to like AIDS and cancer patients who need strength, but cant work out. Shit may be fake or underdosed.
TweetIs it Brovel or Tornel? If thats the case, then your boys are probabely shooting more like 300mg, not 400mg.
Yep, thats right, i'm a monkey and you're not.
TweetYeah, If its the first week or something and they are using nothing else then they probably havent noticed much weightgain yet cuz it takes a few weeks for the test to kick in.Originally posted by prolangtum

Dang prolangtum, I sure do seem to be quoting you a lot lately.
"Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent.
Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination
alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'press on' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race."

TweetIts such a shame that we hear this so often. The reason people don't gain weight while taking AAS is usually diet. Training can also play a good role in muscle developement.
Also I feel that people lie the most about what their diet is really like.
When someone says "Oh yeah, its pretty good. I eat like 400g of protein per day" most of the time it really means "I eat about 2500 calories today. 150g of protein 50g of fat and 350g carbs." This is hardly maintainance cal for most adults especially for guys that carry more muscle.
Try writing down exactly what you eat. Create meal logs. I know its tedious, but it's the only way you will be able to accomplish your goals. To gain lots of muscle most bulkers should be 4-5k+ calories per day and cutters should be ~3-4k calories per day with a higher percentage of protein rather the carbs. Eating is a chore, but its necessary in the BB game.
Tweetgear is QV. Progress in the cycle is anywhere from 6-10 weeks. eating may be an issue, but calories are still around 4000
TweetWith cals at 4k they should be good to go on gains...although they'd be getting fat if those 4k were not clean. It could also be a stagnant training routine which won't stimulate the muscles to grow, poor sleep or supplementation which hurts recovery, or a poorly designed training split which could be hurting recovery (i.e. training a target muscle too often/overtraining). If all that's ok, then chances are your gear is underdosed or fake.
