TweetBig boned ? could be it !
Tweetguys i just realized that i have a 38'' waist but i m not fat and my bf is relatively low, well it could be a tight 36'' but the pants would hardly go thru my thighs/hips.....do i have it by geneticmakeup or some hidden fat? i also found out that my dad had a 38'' waist at his prime but wasnt fat at all actually very solid.let me know your thoughts...also do u think a good cutting cycle would help? or is it just my 36'' genetic maleup?sorry for the question
TweetBig boned ? could be it !
TweetIt could be your genetic make up... but i think it is possible to get it smaller and if you ever planned to compete it would be a must. If it your genetic make up i would suggest working your delts and back to create the illusion of a smaller waist.

Tweetuve just realized u have a 38" waist, and how long have u been wearing pants?
Tweetit happens...i am the same way
Tweetcan you see your abs? that's how to tell how much fat is there, plain and simple. lots of things contribute to waist size. mine is bigger when I deadlift heavy. plus, I have wide hipbones. I measure 35" @ competition weight and bodyfat...about 6% or even a little less....
There is no substitute for experience......
Tweetim down around 11% ish, can defintley see my abs, but my waist is 34, im just thick, although some have a disposition to store more fat aroudn the organs, especially when using insulin, this has helped my natural thickness get thicker, ill never be anywhere near a Frank Zane V-Taper
I eat at least 6 times a day to build my body
I pray at least 6 times a day to build my soul
Tweetyes i can see my abs, and i have great delts and back...may be thats why i never notice my waist. thanks for the imputs...i appreciate it, for a bit i felt a was a genetic freakbut good to know i have company. thanks bros.....and about competing i dont worry much...i m a football guy not really a competitive bb, may be in a future.
TweetI'm more or less pretty much the same way...![]()
Tweetbig bones wide hip s it is gentic
Tweetsame genes as ur dad. ur big boned there's nothing wrong with that.
Tweetthanks ppl for ur imput
u guys are the best, besides me![]()
TweetIm the same way bro. My waist is about the same as yours but its not fat. I could see a six pack there but kinda covered with some little fat, hehehehe. My mom is saying that I am gaining weight which I am but in muscle mass. My mom doesnt know shit about bodybuilding because she thinks I should look cut when I train. MOM, IM TRAINING FOR MASS AND SIZE, THEN I'LL CUT, I tell her. I hope understands how bodybuilding works. I put on 5 pounds naturally now weighing 215. PLan to gain another 15 pounds or so with my new test/dbol cycle next week when I start.
Tweetsome people also store more visceral fat (or IM) vs. subcutaneous which can give a lean appearance, even with higher BF overall (it can also give the beer belly look, but hard, the fat is under the abs)....
Visceral fat can be more of a health problem, but can't really tell if you have a high concentration without comparing caliper estimates with buoyancy or DEXA measurements.
The ratio of your hip to waist measurement (you'll have to do a search, feeling lazy) is a good indicator of what's going on too.
