TweetI see how you all are! woe is me woe is me lmao!
TweetWell I went to urgent care finally when I stopped seeing progress with my own therapy on my knee (at about the week and a half point)...
The good news is I don't have anything structurally wrong with ACL, MCL, etc...looks like I just sprained the outer ACL which is already healing well. Glad I know what I'm doing with therapy!
The bad news is I have a large tare in my inner meniscus...
For me its still good news because at least I know I don't have a bad injury or that I could be possibly still damaging. Meniscus issues run in my family of athletes and this will be my second meniscus issue in this knee (although it was ten years ago!).
I will need surgery to repair it but I can hobble around on it until I can get my medical insurance lined up (bad part of being self employed!).
That's all she wrote!
TweetYou guys are pretty brutal making no comments on my injury thread lol! Anyways still dealing with the pain...I haven't decided my approach on this, plus still trying to get some insurance! What a pain!
TweetThat sucks brah, and I feel your pain. I had reconstructive surgery on my knee after dislocating my patella, for some reason my knee would all ways go out. My left knee I can't count and my right maby, three or four times. Then prolly eight years ago again, so then I had another surgery to trim my meniscus guess its been sharred over the years from soccer, climbing, kempo and other abuse and kept flipping which made it go out. Not cool when you're a hundred feet or so off the deck doing a climb or anywhere for that matter. Just take it slow and let things heal but don't baby it, keep it working and you should be fine my friend.

TweetDealing with the pain! Not sure if my gh and peps are assisting healing but I'm able to walk normal and this week actually able to walk on an incline at a decent pace. Still not hitting the weights (on legs) and prob won't be for a long time...self rehab right now...seeing if I can do this without surgery. My last knee surgery set me back for years.
What I'd really like to do is get that artificial cartilage injected like pro ball players!
Thanks for inquiring baby1!
Tweetsurgery sucks!! i'm sure you know that but i've been dealing with this tricep and its been a mother fuker!! i'm probobly at abopuot 60-65% on most isolated excersizes and i'm almost back to normal on some. still cant bench worth a shyt though....i'll get a few reps out with 80lb dumbells, but the tricep will get fituged and its OVER!!
hopefully you fare much better bro! and good luck with the insurance....thats tricky when your self employed, for sure!!

Be careful walking on an incline. I have been doing that also, lately, and it is playing hell on my lowr back.
Don't overdue it!
