Several years ago There were a bunch of doves on the back fence, they spooked and took off all at once and I saw a blur and an explosion of feathers. When I figured out what was going on there was a hawk or falcon in my driveway 15 feet from me with a dead dove. I watched him eat it right there in front of me and did not move. My brew went warm and my cigar went out but well worth it. All that was left was a pile of feathers.
