TweetI'm interested in hearing what people eat pre workout. Amount of carbs, sugars and types of foods in general. Also, how long before you workout are you eating and do you notice a benefit from your current plan. This can also be pre work out shakes and things like that. Thanks everyone.

TweetI'll eat a small , lite , meal about 1-1/2 hrs b4 the gym . I can't work out full because I'll get nauseas .
Then I'll take my Hyde Pre Workout and head to the gym . Hyde kicks ass !!!
TweetIf I have time to eat I get 6-7 eggs and oats. If not then a 60-80 g whey shake with carbs added
Tweetmeal 1
16oz tilapia
1/2 cup cream of rice w/ natty almond butter or pb with sugar free chocolae syrup
2 hours after that and 1 hour prior to training
protein cakes
4 whole eggs
1 cup oats
1 table spoon pb2
sugar free jelly and a touch of sugar free chocolate syrup
that's what fuels my daily training 99% of the time.
another good concoction i came up with is a preworkout protein pudding:
1/2 cup cream of rice cooked mix in your favorite protein powder (the amount you need) vanilla chocolate or cinnamon bun make it just like pudding. this same recipe works well with steel cut oats also

TweetAll I can say is NICE.
TweetIf I had that much to eat b4 the gym , I wouldn't go . I'd be tired as all hell lol
Tweetonly issue i have training is if i have to train at the end of the day with 3-4-5 meals in me. then it is super uncomfotable and a huge pain in the ass. i have found that i get more out of and feel much better with 2 meals in pre. my meals are somewhat small and dont linger in my gut at all, so it is no issue at all for me the majority of the time

TweetI usually have three scrambled eggs and two slices of toast since I train at 5:30am. Sometimes for variety I'll have waffles and for a while I was actually having hamburgers. I usually have about 1.5hrs between eating and training. 30 min preworkout I'm mixing one scoop of c4 with one scoop of pmp. C4 has stims and pmp is Stim free and they have some different ingredients. I also throw one or two scoops of cytocarb and about two tablespoons of MCT oil into the mix.
Tweet16 oz milk, two scoops of protein powder
Tweeti just eat a piece of fruit. normally an apple or banana. if i know it is going to be a long grueling workout I will eat oatmeal with a scoop of protein and honey
Tweet1 cup of applesauce, 30 grams of protein and 2 tablespoons of coconut oil.
post work out
1 cup of applesauce 50grams of protein
TweetSome really good ideas in here. Thanks guys.

Tweettoday it was 3 eggs w/ some egg whites, two pieces of toast, a banana, some iforce conquer, half a cup of coffee. chaos and pain mercury as intra-workout. (this stuff is awesome
TweetReally depends on when I train. I'll typically have 1 cup of oatmeal about 30 minutes or so before training. And a cup of coffee on the way to the gym.
Gonna have to give Guns' preworkout protein pudding a try.
