Tweeti do not think it would be as effective to use pre or during. maybe small amounts like 30-40mg like a sports drink but after it would have some benefit with all the minerals and it's PH balancing effects. but the benefits are very small. it is still salt and too much salt ain't good no matter what kind it is
i would just stick to sprinkling it on food.
