TweetVisualize, keep all negative away, and pray everyday!!! Will lead in prayer backstage this weekend before Nikki and I go on...as well as our other athletes competing, and anyone else who wants to join in.
TweetAre there any sort of 'rituals" or things you do? Our daughter sleeps with her jersey under her pillow and Fuzo has taught her to visualize positive things, in regards to her games or meets, before she goes to sleep. I also sit and watch a motivating video, with her, before she has a gymnastics meet Then we all have a big family hug and are on our way.

Tweetbefore a fight i try to clear my mind and keep anxiety at bay. if i can focus on just my breath, in and out for 5 seconds each and focus only on this one task, my body is not producing adrenaline and i am not "revving the motor" while waiting.
i suppose this is a kind of meditation.
