I went Bluetooth this year and I am never going back. Such a difference without wires!
Check out denon's sport freak. Water and sweat resistant, great sound, light and comfortable. Take calls and skip songs from set too.
It has a small cord from bud to bud. I just wear a hat backwards and cord goes over brim so it doesn't bounce when running. I could never go back to regular buds again.
Like stated above, I just keep it in my bag or can now use the stopwatch app to track/log sets etc..
