People have tweeted that the Devil in the History Channel’s mini-series The Bible, based on the holy scripture, looks like President Obama.


The Daily Mail has reported that during Sunday’s episode many people were surprised by the remarkable resemblance the actor playing the Devil in the mini-series, Medhi Ouzaani, has to the 44th President.

There has been no response from Mark-Burnett production company, which has produced the mini-series. Airing in 2-hour blocks on Sunday nights, The Bible has been a surprise hit for the History Channel.

Conservative commentator Glenn Beck was one of the first people to tweet about the resemblance, tweeting, “Anyone else think the Devil in #TheBible Sunday on History Channel looks exactly like That Guy?”

This is not the first time a President’s features were used as a prop. During the first season of HBO’s Game of Thrones, the creators of the show revealed during the DVD commentary for Season 1 that a model of President Bush’s head appeared in a couple of beheading scenes and was seen stuck atop a pike.
