      Smith machines are made for girls. I'm talking to trice zoot and Chris. Ez that was a great set. Love the confidence of no safety's. Your form looked real good. I'm surprised at that with as much heel as that shoe your wearing has. That was very impressive. You are a big strong dude keep the pace. Trice you have some explaining to do. Great grandpappy trice would be rolling in his grave if he seen you using a smith machine.

      Thanks bro. I only wear that shoes on leg days and when I have deads to do. It is Nike's version of an Oly shoe. It does have a .75' heel if I remember correctly, but that shoe is flat as flat can be. I love it. I tried the chucks, but they wear down on me to fast. Going barefoot in the gym is not allowed, and I respect the people that work there to much to try and sneak a set in like that ha ha! And lastly, I refuse to wear those "toe shoes", I don't know what they are called to be honest.

      As the weight continues to climb, I will move back into the cage. I look at it as Me vs. The Weight. If I fail to reach my rep range goals then 1) I need to be more honest with myself, 2) Make sure I leave 100% of my ego at the door, or 3) Just a bad set which I will come back to next C1 and prove it so.

      I was on the phone with Anabolic5150 the other day and he told me about a 1960's BB'er which I forgot the name sorry, who said to, "always leave one in the tank..." After hearing that, it helped me to feel more comfortable in my sets, and made me focus on realizing when I reach that point.

      Maybe I'll do another video of my deads. Last dead set i got 385 x 10. So I will shoot for 405 x 8 - 12 reps this time around. I just hate asking random people to video me lol! I had to ask this girl who was squatting in the smith rack if she could record it for me, she was a little weirded out lol.

      this coming from a guy who does deads in spandex? i thought spandex was for girls seriously though i used to laugh at people on the smith too but i just don't seem to have the form in the rack and it serves great as a vertical leg press since my gym only has a nautilus one
      everything said and done here is for entertainment purposes only. i don't even really workout i just pretend like i do so i can have big friends

      WOW! Thanks guys! I've been working on my flexibility lately, actually setting time aside to stretch afterwards even though I do DC extreme stretches after each exercise. 5150, who has taken me under his wing has told me some things I need to work on. He is pretty much my coach/mentor for DC, and I do not deviate from anything he tells me no matter how brutal it may be. So I started all over on the weight. Doing a 2-3 second negative, 1 second hold in the hole, and then explode up. Tell you what, that ****ing burns like no other! I thought I was gimping to the closest bench before, you should see me now. I don't even move, I just rest on the bar, legs shaking, and cussing non stop under my breath to 5150 lol!

      My main focus with the extra stretches is for my psoas muscles. I've always had problems with it being tight. Focusing my stretches to lengthen this muscle and get it loose again has really helped with getting deeper in my squat. When I look at my depth in the mirror, I smile real big lol!

      Started my second DC blast 3 weeks ago, and have dubbed it "EZ's no Ego, Focus on the Negative" blast ha ha!

      Hope everyone has a great weekend, I'll be working on my damn truck with a buddy rebuilding the rear end damn it!!!
