Strongman events are probably the hardest thing out there. The fact that you competed 25lbs down is impressive.

I'd work on more dead lifts. I recall you do sumo but conventional seems to be the way of Strongman.

Your grip strength is impressive. 280 is on the higher show off events and you did some ass kicking. I was practicing with 290 farmer walks the other day and it's no joke.

Btw I call ***** on those that wear dead lifts suits for Strongman. That's just me though. You beast mode those guys bare chested.

TweetThank you it was a national qualifier meet. So top three gets an invitation to nationals. There were guys from all over that hadn't made it yet trying to place top three so it was good competition. Dead lifts are going to be my focus for a while. I've got my squats close to were I want to be. I just love to compete. And strongman is a good group of guys for sure. And yes **** suits. I think they shouldn't be allowed but I don't make the rules. From here on out I do all my lifts raw. I've cheated my self with belts wraps gimiks of all sorts. When really what I needed was to get off my ass and work.
