TweetI never thought much about nutrients micro or macro. Yeah I take my fish oil and my multivitamin and all was good ; I thought. About a month ago I got a subscription to Moms Meals, they send me a menu and get 21 meals per week, easy just nuke them and ready easy pezy. The meals are low in calorie for me so I eat some peanut butter with it.
OMG I am gaining much muscle doing this along with my training. Yeah I gain a little fat but not much. The change is enough where people notice and comment.
I have wasted years not paying attention to macro.
TweetA good diet changed gut microbiome which will effect how macros and micros are digested and increase uptake. Better uptake meals easier to build muscle. This is a really simplistic view and probably only half of it. Sounds like a good deal brother.
