Hockey and Basketball are also happening, but there's no denying that the Super Bowl is one of the largest sporting events, if not the largest in the country. And if you're just in it for the commercials and the food, then you're in luck if these chicken bites are on your table. They're baked (not fried!) and there's no messy dredging. It's a match made in big sports day heaven!

The Best Lemon-Garlic Chicken Comes from the Slow Cooker
The Super Bowl always seems to come at a horrible time in the lives of everyone with a New Year's resolution to eat healthier. The day is usually loaded with the most calorie-laden foods out there. And typically we're all there for food, friends, and even more food!

To make these bites, chicken is soaked in buttermilk and then patted dry. It's tossed in flour and seasonings and then given a short five-minute rest. It's then coated in a mixture of crushed cereal and potato chips that are pressed into the chicken and then placed on a sheet pan and put in the oven. Once removed, they're tossed in sauce and the snacking can commence.
