I think the majority of people will agree that Sonnen did not look that good really. Just compare this fight with the fight he had against Stann for instance....that's all I'm saying. He will need to tighten that up before fighting Anderson....not to mention that he will be fighting him in Anderson's back yard.

It was reported by UFC president Dana White shortly following the UFC on Fox 2: Evans vs. Davis event had concluded that Chris Weidman, who stepped up on short notice to take on Demian Maia on the night's main card, had not beaten Maia by split decision (29-28, 28-29, 30-27), as was initially announced by Bruce Buffer, but had actually defeated the Brazilian by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27).

This morning, F4WOnline reports that the Weidman-Maia decision wasn't the only judges' decision to be rendered or read incorrectly, as apparently there was an error in getting across the correct result of the night's co-main event, which pitted middleweights Chael Sonnen and Michael Bisping against one another.

Originally and controversially read as a unanimous decision in Sonnen's favor, with scores of 30-27, 29-28, and 29-28 all going for the Oregonian. As it's being reported, the actual scorecards show a different story, one that much better reflects what happened in the fight. According to F4WOnline, two judges gave rounds one and three to Sonnen, with Bisping taking the second, while the third judge scored it unanimously for Bisping.

Haha...ok man, ok. You're right. You take this stuff too personal man. That's why I rarely post in the mma section anymore. Always turns into an argument. It's not worth making a post just to have to fight about it.

And yeah if you do make a post you just might have to keep going back and forth. Evrey MMA board forum out there has 20 pages of disagreements about this fight. And people have said sonnen should of lost well I showed you the stats of the fight and sonnen clearly won them so how can anyone dispute that.This is a discussion board that sometimes will lead to debates and on and on it will go. I asked show me where bisping won. Surely not in the fightmatrex site. And if anyone thinks bisping won the 3rd round needs there head looked at. 4:45 ON TOP OF SONNE WITH gnp and that idiot joe rogan said bisping stole that round. How do you steal a roubd in 15 seconds someone please tell me when sonnen was on top for over 4 minutes 45 seconds he said the same thing with the nate fight unreal. So this is no fight no argument

Well, maybe it was just because it was in text. So I apologize if I took it the wrong way. You know I LOVE a good debate. I do agree that Sonnen dominated the 3rd. I don't agree that fightmetric shows the winners every time. I can remember in the past you posting reports from fightmetric that had one guy landing all the shots and basically showed him winning, but he lost. Going by fightmetric is not 100% accurate compared with the judges. Octagon control, aggressiveness, etc...plays into the judges calls but can't be "tallied" on fightmetric. It's only 100% accurate and physical connection. I would say the majority of Sonnen's shots that landed were when he got Bisping down and he landed all the pitter patter shots. They do no damame and really are nothing but count on points. Think of the Diaz brothers and that little pawing jab they do. It has nothing whatsoever on it and they only use it to have something in their opponent's face, but every time it touches the body, it goes onto fightmetric as a shot landed. But either way, I won't draw it out further than that because we both have different opinions on the how the fight went. I'm not saying there isn't a case for Sonnen winning, I'm just saying I thought he lost.


But regardless....we now get to watch the rematch with him and Anderson.
