TweetRashad has the worst luck when it comes to fights. It seems that someone is always getting injured when it comes to his fights.Phil Davis has been forced to withdraw from his UFC 133 main event fight against Rashad Evans due to a knee injury, MMA Fighting has learned from sources. No word just yet on who, if anyone, Evans will now fight on the Aug. 6 card in Philadelphia.
According to sources, the UFC is expected to announce Davis' injury and the new UFC 133 main event in the coming hours.
UFC 133 takes place at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
Davis (9-0) recently defeated Antonio Rogerio Nogueira at UFC Fight Night in March. The win improved his UFC record to 5-0.
Evans (15-1-1) hasn't competed due to various reasons since he beat Quinton "Rampage" Jackson at UFC 114 in May 2010.
The current UFC 133 co-main event features Rich Franklin vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira
So who do you guys think his opponent will be now?

TweetWell, it looks like Machida turned the fight down. You can't blame him for that. He is working his way back to a title shot and that is something you can't chance on 3 weeks notice. Not to mention he wouldn't get a title shot for winning.
Fighters Only spoke to Lyoto Machida’s wife Fabyola this afternoon and she says her husband is not taking the fight with Rashad Evans at UFC 133.
The UFC was hoping the former champion would step in against his US counterpart following the withdrawal of Phil Davis, but with only a few weeks to go the Machida camp does not like the fight.
Machida was also apparently not offered a title shot in the case of beating Evans.
Fighters Only Brasil writer Eduardo Cruz had the following conversation with Fabyola:
So Lyoto won't definitely take the fight versus Rashad Evans at UFC 133?
Fabiola Machida: No, he won't accept the fight at all. There are only three weeks for the preparation, Eduardo, and it just isn’t possible in the career of an athlete... three weeks of preparation.
