TweetAldo will romp Kenny at 145. Im guessing a stoppage by azz whoopage.
TweetAs far as I’m concerned, I know I’ve done well at 55 and I know I can be a champion at 155... It all started when I was offered a fight with Jose Aldo at 155 pounds, and when that opportunity arose, I just started thinking Jose won't go up to 155, could I be able to make it at 145? Anyone can make 45, but the question of getting there and being able to perform well (was there) and (my coaches) felt that I would be able to do that. It was also a factor at 55. A lot of the guys that I wanted to fight, didn't want to fight, and didn't want to take the fight. I'm at the point in my career where I wanted to face the best, and when that wasn't happening, I said let's try 45."
Former two time number one contender to the UFC's 155 pound title, Kenny Florian, talks to mmaweekly.com about his decision to drop down to the UFC's featherweight division. Set on a collision course with Jose Aldo if he does well, Florian also aspires to handle the unfinished business he left at the 155 pound division.
First on deck for "KenFlo" is Aldo training partner, Diego Nunes. Florian makes his featherweight debut next month at UFC 131. Often criticized for choking when a title or number one contender seat is on the line, can Florian escape his past demons and make his way to the 145 title, or will it be same ole song, just at a lower weight?

Tweetstrella, yeah, very possible
yet, this is what i like about mma, i like florian, and he's not a quiter, he's gotten better half steps at a time, just an interesting drama to watch a mans quest in action
TweetMaybe I am bias cause he's from Boston but I like him, and his fights. Hope he does well at 45
TweetI really just think he was too weak already at 155, and at 145 he will get pushed around by Aldo.
Tweetimho, his weakness is weakness in comparison too other fighters
Tweetaldo is so freakin fast. kenny has great technique but lacks the athleticism and strength.
it is impressive that he is ranked in the top 10 without having a physical prowess that most other fighters have which can only mean he beats people with his technique
