TweetAs far as BJJ is concerned, you will need rash guards for sure . Will you be doing any Gi training at all? I have never trained with a cup before and it was never a problem. That might not be a bad idea.

get a colored gi, the white ones will start turning great and bleach will make them weak.

TweetI think any martial arts is a great idea, the reasons are many. as far as competition fighting goes just remember your not going to look the same when ya look in the mirror in five years j/k. if this is something you wanna do I say go for it ! it will be good for you. jipped genes has been into MMA and stuff as far as I can remember so he would be a great help if you need help. best of luck and keep us posted.
