UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones vs. Glover Teixeira -- Jones wins via decision (50-45 x3) I think it went just as most MMA people expected. Jones could not finish Texeria but he dominated pretty much the whole fight once he got his rhythm.

205 lbs.: Phil Davis vs. Anthony Johnson -- Johnson wins via decision (30-27 x3) WOW! rumble looked gooood. made davis look like a journeyman not a top 5 LHW. Rumble hits HARD, phil was gun shy after the first round. great fight because davis has a big heart and never stopped.

185 lbs.: Tim Boetsch vs. Luke Rockhold -- Rockhold wins via submission (kimura) - 2:08 rd 1 I like rockhold and boetsch. In BJJ we call the kimura a newbie move but in MMA it is a great tool. when your paycheck doubles with a win get that "W" any way you can.

155 lbs.: Yancy Medeiros vs. Jim Miller -- Miller wins via submission (guillotine) - 3:18 rd 1 Generic fight up until miller gets on top. he did what he does best.

145 lbs.: Andre Fili vs. Max Holloway -- Holloway wins via submission (guillotine) - 3:39 rd 3 pretty good back and forth fight. pretty choke.

125 lbs.: Joseph Benavidez vs. Timothy Elliott -- Benavidez wins via submission (guillotine) - 4:08 rd 1 benavidez stayed relaxed and weathered the early storm and got the team alpha male signature choke. Elliot is crazy! he needs to go to big mma camp. nothing wrong with grindhouse but the training partners he has are not super high level like the big boys

155 lbs.: Takanori Gomi vs. Isaac Vallie-Flagg -- Gomi wins via decision (29-28 Gomi looked like he gassed in the first. but he is a warrior. looked great for the first two minutes, slowed, kept fighting both guys landed great jabs and combos. gomi just has such a wealth of experience fighting the best in the world in pride. as flagg slowed gomi just landed more. also used take downs strategically. good fight. Flagg is a tough guy but gomi won for sure.

135 lbs.: Chris Beal vs. Patrick Williams This was one of the nastiest KOs I have seen in a long time. the sound of william's jaw made me queasy. neither guy looks like a top 20 guy but that flying knee will make future opponents think twice about backing up to the cage and being stationary

I think rockhold needs a titler shot, jones Imo doesmnt seem like a champion to me.I want to see some finishes from him.Another decision guy.Someone asked dabna white if he is the best pfp fighter ever dana aka dick head said yes I say no way.Jones was gassing in the 5th round and teix just didnt have anything left to tgake advantage of it.Im dissapointed in phil he took this fight to lightly and paid the price. They also had a article about the prime of chuck and the prime of jones now who would win.I say chuck because in his prime he can take a punch,he's take down defense was the best and he had power and knocked out FIGHTERS putting people to sleep.

Fuzo, I completely concur!!! I was just saying that Jones is not what I expect from a champion in his weight class. Imagine him having to compete with the likes of Machida or Liddell in their prime. Glover just didn't try hard enough it seemed. He could've capitalized better.

      I have no doubt!

Jones is super talented. he is not a decision guy, he has had 3 decisions in his last 11 fights. granted the last 2 have been but still.

A true champion IMO will fight anyone anytime but jones had a whole card cancelled because he was scared to fight a wrestler moving up a weight class
