TweetAs the title says? I personally think silva wont retire without his belt. I think he has enough cash to get healed up nicely and train hard! What you guys thinking?

TweetIf he heals well enough to walk normal again I think he'll be lucky and walk away into retirement. Belt means zero to him. He wanted to avenge a loss he dicked around and got beat in. After that horrific injury he's done. No one comes back from that. He'd be over 40 and not fought in over years. No rubber match
TweetIt broke at the shin though. Cantthey just screw some steel plates in his leg and do soem physio and giver shit again?
TweetHe's got a rod through the tibia and they were able to set the fibia without surgical means but that's going to be a painful rehab. Best to walk away as the best pound for pound that was in mma
Tweeti hope he does not. just go to retirement and enjoy life.
TweetThey said 3-6 months recovery time, so I don't think that's the issue. Anderson was talking about retiring after this event anyway, so I think he will walk away and go box Roy Jones Jr now. It's not really the fact of can he recover and come back. I think like BigDawg said, he is pushing 40 and it's probably about time he steps away anyway. If it were me, I would have considered myself lucky to not have taken hardly any damage through my career and stepped away when I had the belt. At 38 and suffering an injury like he just did, I would walk away now. I don't care how great you are, after a break like that, it's going to really put some weird thoughts in your head about throwing leg kicks again....and that's one of his most utilized tools.

"I'm telling you, once your car's been stolen, it never runs the same again. It's like a guy sleeping with your girl. He leaves his mark all over her."- Drama (Entourage)
TweetJuiceman, I know how much you love Silva...hell, I can relate! I love Weidman too but knowing Silva, I honestly think he will TRY to fight again, maybe not Weidman but definitely someone to prove he can...
Now, do I think that is smart? No, especially considering if it happened once, it could happen again even with the surgery and metal rod in him...but weirder things have happened and he really may make some random comeback next year!
TweetI like silva but i wanna see weidman actually fight silva, i know this sounds stupid, but if you think about all of silvas fights. He just got unlucky twice in a row. I believe weidman is a great fighter but i actually want to see a fight with the two of them finish to end instead of TKO (breaking bones and such). The only TKO i wanna see is silva kicking weidmans jaw in so it shatters or vs versa like that. Non of this cheap checking kicks, thats for puss *****es bro lol........ So yah all and all i think the spyder silva if he doesnt break his legs kicking the guy wouldve demolished weidman!
TweetI think if he feels good and he thinks he can fight he should but like tn said that leg break will be in the back of his mind ever time he throws a leg kick..
