read a thread either here or on IM from baby1 about uni-lateral training.just finished reading a chapter in one of Christian Thibadeuas books about the benefits behind it.
he said "the total sum of added wght using uni-lateral movements will never equal the total sum of bilateral movements.",which in a way made alot of sense to me.take db flat benches for ex: most guys who can easily pump out 315 for decent reps will not be able to get the same intensity or volume using 150+lb db's uni-laterally.simply because too many factore come into play.altho i prefer bilateral movements for chest i can see a benefit,once in a while,by usin uni-laterals for legs/back,arms.thinking of starting to incorporate a few movements into my routine to see what and where my weaker points are on certain bodyparts...just a thought...
