Tweetfor months,and i mean literally months i've tried to understand the fundamentals behind this routine.when i see formulas,percentages,math i get frustrated.i was about to give up until i went thru my closet and found that i forgot i had it printed out already.
so i took the initiative saturday night and read,read and re-read until about 3am.i was about to give up,sat back,had a smoke when it hit me right in the face what the routine is all based upon.this week and a few days into next week i'll be going over some of my lifts to get my 1rm's written down and set up my program.pretty much the way Jim has it but with slightly different auxillary movements.
i will be keeping a weekly to bi-monthly progress journal on here and explain everything in detail as it pertains to the corresponding days in question.hopefully this will give me the drive to follow through with it and also open up topics and discussions as well as feedback from our members.i know we have some talented experienced PLers in here that can give more insight/opinions as this unfolds.hope to have this started soon...rocco.

Tweetbasically it's getting more 1rm's with sub-maximal wghts.taking your 1rm,subtracting 10% from that and that becomes your new 1rm base to go on.starting at 60% of that number you'll slowly increase each set.each meso cycle lasts 4wks,the 4th week being your deload phase.i've tried something similar with a 5x5 last year with pretty good results but didn't put all my effort into it.this i'm taking to the limit.this week alone while trying to figure out some 1rm's i'm noticing serious pumps.i know growth isn't too far behind...

Tweetyup,that's when the magic happens.alot of guys on another forum said to them it sounds stupid using sub-maximal wghts to try and break PR's but even after i explained to them it won't happen overnight they're still nay sayers.idc,i finally figured out how it all goes down,right up to the auxillary movements and rep ranges.this one i'm goin all the way with.
