crossfit is basically having a bowl filled with an infinite number of physical task on each strip of paper.... pulling one task out and being able to complete it.... whether it is deadlift 2.5 times ur body weight or run a 5k or 30 pullups... its about doing the most work in a short amount of time.... check out crossfit.com and try some of the wod.
it mixes powerlifting, cardio, and gymnastic.

TweetIf my finances work out I intend on opening up one myself for my brother to run in 2011. Personally not into crossfit but always trained that way in some respects for practical purposes.

TweetI switched to mainly crossfit about a year ago. when i first started i quickly realized that while i looked fit I really was not. It has been a huge help with my line of work (Firefighting). I still do some bodybuilding specific work outs but the majority of my training is based around crossfit. From a fitness standpoint I am now way more well-rounded that when i was just lifting/gym cardio.
