TweetOkay bros i need a little help here!!!
My legs are SUPER strong my last set of squats right now is 5 plates each side for a solid ass to the ground 8 reps. I can put some serious weight on the hack, leg press, whatever.
My calves are decently strong. I go really heavy and do forced reps with 5 plates on the seated calve raise on leg days.
SO WHAT THE HELL IS MY PROBLEM????
I eat alot...train balls to the walls...and my legs and calves are strong but i CANT get them BIG!!!
I just bought some strength shoes to work the calves and im gunna try some new leg exercises...
SO WHAT DO YOU GUYS SUGGEST I DO??? NOTE: I WANT BIGGER LEGS AND CALVES BY ANY MEANS NECCESSARY!!! PLEASE ANY SUGGESTIONS ARE WELCOMED...TRAINING...SPOT INJECTIONS...AAS TYPES...NUTRITION TIPS...IM TALKING ANYTHING YOU GUYS CAN THINK OF TO HELP ME MASS UP THE WHEELS!!!

I have the same issue. In high school I ran cross-country and distance in track. I kicked ass.. but my legs suffered. I have super strong legs... I don't do half squats or half leg presses like many people who slap the weights on do... Full deep presses.
I have switched to do more volume. Decent weight, not the huge amounts, but enough to make it hard for them to bend...
Wish I could give a better idea...

I DONT HIGH VALUME LIGHT WEIGHT. I TRIED HEAVY AND IT DIDNT WORK FOR ME. HIGH REP'S WERE THE WAY TO GO FOR ME. EXAMPLE: I NEVER DID LEST THAN 30 REPS ON LEG PRESS. (I HAVE DONE 45-50). I ALWAYS DO ATLEAST 4 SETS. SQUATS I'LL DO 20 REPS FOR 4 SETS. I ALWAYS DO 2-3 SETS WIDESTANCE AND 2-3 SET NARROW

TweetHave you tried alternating weekly? Like one week lift really heavy...next week light with a lot more reps?? Cus i noticed a lot of people don't really like to change it up like that?
TweetTry a hard core 20 rep squat routine. Power doesn't necessarily equal size, especially if you have poor genetics for leg size.

I really don't wanna go for synthol unless its like a last resort id rather try spot injecting some IGF and switching different training methods...its seems like Ive done hardcore legs almost every type of workout imaginable tho...it really sucks

TweetI will admit I haven't done the REALLY high volume like daved150 suggests maybe that will be the next step. I dont know...anyone got any more suggestions or ideas..they are much appreciated!!!

TweetMaybe you don't respond well to lower reps. My legs grow much better with the 12 to 15 rep range than they do at lower reps. Anything under 10 reps does very little for my thighs or calves in terms of size. But, to be honest, I literally only do one working set for any of my leg exercises and they grow. I can train legs once a month and they will grow. But, back when I used to pour on the sets and reps, they didn't grow near as well as they do now. My traps are the same way, one working set and that's it and they grow. Some people think more is better, well, it's not, it's just more. Not everyone needs 20 sets to make a muscle grow. My calves will only get two sets a week, that's it. I do one set with straight leg to put more emphasis on the gastroc and one set bent knee to put more emphasis on the soleus.
