hey all, I haven't posted in a few years, after I graduated college in 06 I've spent a lot of time working, trying to working out, and other stuff. Right now I'm prob. as serious as I've ever been with training and have been for a few months. My chest has always been a lagging body part while my triceps are not. For my chest workout I have used dumbells..35x10 for my warm up, then 45, 55 ,65 all for 10, then 75 for a few reps...3-5, whatever I can get without help lately. Today the total lbs. lifted for those 5 sets is 2225 lbs. I know for a if I did 35 as my warm up for 10 then say 55 lb db press for 4 sets at 10 reps is 2550 lbs. lifted. My question is going by the second route with less weight lifted in certain sets but overall more weight total will that be more benefiticial to muscle development? opinions, comments, ect apppreicated thanks in adavance -Husky
