TweetI want to get one to put in the doorway to our kitchen. Anyone have one? Are there better ones than others, and need easy install with not many holes in the walls?

Tweetidk baby1 seeing all the videos of people wiping out with those things makes me go um. haha. i know you dont weigh anything at all but busting your ass on the hard kitchen floor would suck.
on a side note i have seen ones that expand in your door way and dont require any mounting or brackets. some of my guys in the barracks had them. never could figure out why since we had pull up bars next to every building. i do know they make them though and have seen them used

TweetThose doorway chinning bars are fantastic! Very safe and strong as heck. Ive hung from it when I was 250 lbs, no problem. You should definitely get one
TweetIs there one you recommend? I don't mind paying for quality

TweetI got mine at Dick's Sporting goods. It has different hand positions. Kind of like this one-

TweetI have one called the iron gym. It requires no tools and will fit in your door easily with no fear of falling or breaking

TweetThey make em where you do not have to drill any holes. they hang on the top trim and counter with pieces of padded metal on the other side. As long as you have a regular size door the will work. I suppose a strong piece of trim too.
TweetYes, You have to make sure it fits your door. Residential doors are narrower than commercial doors. My pullup bar from home is too narrow for my office door. They make wide ones if you need that.
TweetI got a cheap one from Walmart when all the gyms started closing down. It works, I just feel like it isn't the strongest piece of equipment lol. There are probably much better ones out there.
