Tweetthey should do an mri to make sure you didnt tear anything man. if it is still hurting then something is not right and the inflammation came from an injury somewhere
TweetI had my knee drained about 2 weeks ago. Before it hurt so bad I could not walk. After getting drained I am able to walk but very timidly. The hollow of my knee (back part) hurts a lot and sometimes the pain goes all the way to Achilles tendon. I tried stretches massage muscle rubs, am I missing something? From getting knee drained should I have that pain?

TweetI am scheduled to see Ortho Doctor on tuesday
TweetMan that sucks bro. Definitely get an MRI done to make sure there isn't anything else going on on there. Hope you get it all fixed up soon.
TweetThis is cool thanks
TweetI subscribed to his videos. He has a lot of knowledge.
TweetYeah good info. A lot of guys go to a knee brace. But this just weakens your knee more as it provides support rather than allowing the stabilizing muscles to do their job. At least in hypothesis. (I still use when I am doing super dynamic moves but leave it off for all else) Good luck man, i hope you can get it rehabbed and back to 100%.
TweetThanks. I did get the knee brace it was a lot of trouble. I could not drive etc. It limited mobility a lot too. The video above has a lot of good info
TweetA lot of useful info in the video, it helped make a conclusion and a good 1. I was wearing sandals all summer, good ones too. They let my ankle slide not supporting it.
I wore my shoes with good orthetic insert = no pain
Tweeti agree with guns01 on this subject
Tweetactually i have had 2 right knee surgerys and did not help, when it comes to weight lifting, but i went to a sports medicine DR and he said that i needed a knee replacement, so i did that, and i can lift and leg press more now than i ever have before, BUT remember ( everyone ) is differant.... hope this helps, and get a MRI done and see a sports medicine DR...
TweetMy knee is almost back to normal.
I had a tore meniscus, not bad enough for surgery.
So I wore compression legging elevation and heat and cool as well as not to use.
Don't use it part was easy. It hurt like a dikkens so I used it the least I could.
Well it worked.
TweetGlad you are better man, that sucks. Been there. effects me even now 10 years later. I wear an articulated soft knee brace when I train. It bends well. i can drive and I have a manual car (Clutch leg)
rehab is slow and steady brother. You will be 99% before you know it.
TweetI will be back to training soon. I haven't walked on it much per Dr orders.
I am going to be fitted for a knee brace. Not sure I need it but nice to have.
Tweetbro ive been there and done that. AND THEN i had total knee replacement and now i can do everything with ease, the dr told me there are 2 things not to do and they are NO leg exstentions AND running, BUT i do them both anyway and feel fine, i had my surgery back in 2015... you might want to check into doing that AND make sure you do theraphy or you will regreat it...
