I have cerebral ataxia with parkinsonism it affects the left side of my body mostly. Yes I was tested for stroke etc. The VA thinks it might be from agent orange but not sure. Brings me to a question because I am not laying down and accept this.
OK once neural pathways are gone they are gone they do not repair themselves.

What would make new neural pathways faster?

You got it brotha. I'm not sure about this off the top of my head, but I'll do some research on my end as well and let you know what I learn. The human body is absolutely amazing, there's always a way to heal and beat it.

My kind of thinking! I can tell you what has been my saving grace. Keep an open mind here, and these things are "age old" not "new age", like the label has been given. Meditation, tai chi, yoga, they are all so helpful for the mind and body. I cannot stress enough the positive impact daily meditation has helped my ailments. You Tube has been my go to. Some like to do this in groups, classes, etc, I prefer doing things, like this, solo. Shoot me a PM if you need more resources. Keep that strong will, dw

My wife has a similar prob but it is not with the neurons. It is with the Myelin on her nerves.

I will list some stuff she takes and let you do the research as i bet you would enjoy anyway.

METHYLCOBALAMIN! Had to google it to spell it.

      coQ10
      vitamin E
melatonin every night whether you need it or not 3mg is fine
zinc 3-4 nights a week on an empty stomach
      ALA
There are others but she *****es about how many pills she takes already. I said it is for your fricken health! Check it out brother, best of luck in your fight

I think I am in uncharted territory as far as exercise to halt the progress or reverse the progress. So far I have been hitting the tread mill hard
