that's how it works man. your muscle may feel great but they still arent recovered. same goes with your cns, it needs no shit rest. if you absolutely have to get into the gym to not go stir crazy, look into active recovery work. you are able to still train per say but in a recovery fashion that will allow you to boost your performance. i do like the 2 days off on the weekend but some people go crazy taking off two straight days a week
