I have been closely watching my movements in the mirror. This is what I have noticed, I will use the bench press for example but ig for most all exercise in one way or another.
When at the contracted state (bottom) The 1st half is using the muscle strictly or mostly. The elbow comes almost in an arc. But beyond the 1/2 way mark the arms comes into play.

My question if my observations are correct, then partial reps from the contracted position taxes the intended muscle. So partial reps are better for muscle growth.

right or wrong?
