TweetI get a little irritated by the arrogant attitude of people who do cross fit. They act like if you do bodybuilding or powerlifting, then youre an idiot. Crossfitters need to get a clue, their sport aint the greatest thing since sliced bread
TweetThey have a section in my gym for crossfit training. I am not very knowledgeable in crossfit but to me a lot of the movements look just dangerous,

TweetSorry, I dont mean to bash all cross fitters. Its an okay way to workout, I just get annoyed by some of these people who think crossfit is the end all of everything, and any other type of workout is stupid. Most crossfitters I know how no idea of just how important it is to put muscle on the human body. They act like having muscle is somehow bad for you
TweetThe way they train does not look safe
TweetIts not safe. Putting someone in a group class and loading a deadlift bar and telling someone to see how many deadlifts they can get in 60 seconds=recipe for disaster...plus torn rotator cuffs in crossfitters is an epidemic...
again, telling someone to do snatches and over head presses against the clock is not so good for a lot of people
TweetI think its funny how they use big plates that look like 45lbs each but are really 25lbs with a lot of rubber around them
Tweetdoing a heavy load while fatigued is always a recipe for disaster. the people i have seen doing it have more wraps straps and tape on than most top tier power lifters. that's an indicator to me that it is not joint or longevity friendly at all. i will keep my cardio and lifting at different times haha
