TweetI had a 3 way fusion in s1, l6, l7 so my training for back is a little different than the best. The problem is I can't feel it much in lats. I can do mist all the movements except for bent over row and t bar rows. What should I try?

TweetI have found one arm cable lat pulls you can really find a position where you can really isolate then and feel them light up nicely. same with row. Granted you cannot go as heavy but you are not compensating with other muscle groups. And lastly it is real good for support muscles because it is an asymmetrical lift.
TweetI get a good pump in the lats from close grip pulldowns.
TweetThanks for thw tips. Today I swung my elbows in an arc. Felt very good
TweetFull extention pull ups fires mine up good. When doing them, touch your chest to the bar then when you lower yourself count to 5 until you come to full extention at the bottom. Then explode up. Do 5 sets to failure.

Tweetuse light weight until you can feel lats working before how much weight you use.
TweetYep, I was gonna suggest the same thing. I notice when I start really light, I'm able to focus more on activating my lats.
TweetI am going to also use the arc motion on oush days (Chest, sholders etc) to take my arems out of the exercise
Tweetthe focus on not using my arms big step. I am using them but I don't want to feel it too much its not getting the job done.
TweetIf your feeling it in arms while or after training back might try some lifting hooks until you can get it down. This way you can use the hook and pull with elbows vs gripping the bar tight holding on.
Tweetdidnt even think about that. also using a hook grip(with thumb over instead of wrapping the bar) is another good trick to help take bicep out of the movement
