Tweetno but that's a pretty good trick to trick the old mind a bit. nothing wrong with it at all
TweetDoes anyone use odd numbers instead of even numbers when training? For example...instead of 3x10 of something...do 3x11...etc.
I started doing this awhile back for no particular reason other than...why not? Who says our reps have to be sets of4..6...8 or so on? Plus for me it makes it more interesting if I'm doing my own thing instead of following what everyone else does.

TweetMan that's a great idea. Where I would normally do a set of 10, I'm now going to do a set of 11. Odd numbers would give me that extra rep. Hell yeah!
TweetThanks yohimbe. Just another thing I do to make things interesting for myself at the gym!

TweetI try to switch it up sometimes and just train till failure whether it's 12 or 13 or whatever reps. I've got some OCD going on so sometimes it's harder than it seems but I always try to just go till failure.
