TweetYes! Mix it up!Throw in some HIIT!
TweetI like to read while doing cardio, and I have been doing an hour on the treadmill. I find it hard to read while doing HIIT. Was thinking of throwing in 15 minutes of HIIT during that hour? Anyone do this? I usually have done them on alternate days but i like steady so I can do my reading

TweetYeah I know guns you are right, and you know how I react to things. the hour slow steady has been tolerable, and I do like it. Probably not as effective for my goals as the HIIT, but that does wipe me out. Maybe I will just throw it back in a day a week and skip the steady cardio that day

TweetYou have to know my thoughts on this baby as I'm the Crossfit guru lol. But yes I'd definitely throw some hiit in your routine as it's much more efficient than an hour on the treadmill reading
Tweetthanks, the hour reading is great for my mind. Kind of killing 2 birds with one stone here.

Tweetif you guys have a sled or a prowler at your gym give some eccentric less work a try. no impact on the nervous system and it is great for both cardio and recovery

TweetAlways good to switch up things and keep body guessing. Steady state burns more fat as we all know though.
