Tweetit's a combo of being lazy and no pain tolerance in most. some people just have crap genetics for calves but most of the time that's not the case. i hammer mine and they stay around 20in so mine are by no means massive but i have brought them up pretty good

TweetMine are a stubborn pain in the ass. I pound them just to keep them somewhat respectable compared to the rest of my body. What makes it even worse is my thighs grow pretty well, which just makes them look even more pathetic.

TweetI agree with guns , low pain tolerance and laziness makes a lot of guys have small calves...Some guys have shitty genetics with calves and it doesnt matter what they do, they are going to have chickin calves

TweetI am built with athletic legs. My calf doesn't start until about 11 inches above my ankle. I was very fast and could cut left or right in half a blink of an eye. Genetics yes. I can burn the hell out of them but they will never be huge like some of those guys with stubs. I can live with it built like a corner or wide out. I would not trade my body genetics for anyone's now my face that a different question.

TweetOver the years mine didnt grow but as I got older and walked more and I tell ya 10-15 yrs a weekend on my feet watching my daughter play softball because I cant sit down and watch a game they grew. Now I go super heavy on 1 calve exercise then I do this machine and still go kinda heavy but rep the shit out of them .so there growing now. Best they ever looked and I'm 50 now
