TweetPre workout drink and some carbs for me.. And I generally have a full meal an hour before my workout on top of that. If I'm tired and not focused it's usually due to lack of sleep or poor eating habits from previous days. Can't win em all but 90% of the time I'm gtg.

I get nausea if I have a full or somewhat full stomach . So a pre workout on an empty stomach it is !!!

Tweethell no man. do some research it is pretty much useless for training aspects and essentially nothing more than corn starch. i tried it way back when bsn first put it out and then again with slin and oh damn it tore my guts to pieces. not good by any means for me or anyone else i have known that used it. maltodextrin branch chain cyclic dextrin or something like that is much more effective and easier on your system

Tweeta company called biotest i believe makes the almost identical original version of intra md. i am pretty sure it is called surge or something like that. it is crazy crazy expensive but it is the same product as intra md with the carb source being highly branched chained cyclic dextrin and casine hdroslate(i believe). now there are many other products out there with similar ingredients that are really good also: like karbolyn and vitargo to name a few. they are worth the investment for sure

Tweeti have a big breakfast and a shake before bed. then i wake up and train. its easier on my stomach and chewing gum helps keep me from going to the bubbler and drinking too much water. pre wo is usually ephed hcl, cup of coffee, caffeine citrate powder, and yoh hcl powder. i also like to do fast acting supplementation about 45 mins before wo. during that time I stretch. post wo i stretch, ice, and shower then have lunch and a shake and then eat throughout the day. I am not conventional but it took me a long time to find what works for me.
Tweetsomething i picked up from someone this year as a matter of fact for people in your position that train first thing in the morning is this: they put at least 1-2 of their big carb meals at the end of the day before bed, then they have a shake a small amount of carbs and fat pre workout and then the remainder of the following days carbs post workout. it seems to work really really well and most people tolerate it pretty easy also

But yes Breakfast is a big meal for me. and i just wolf down as much as i can so i am not hungry in the a.m. the gum keeps me from chugging water because when i do that it comes back up with heavy lifting. Post workout I need a lot of protein, carbs and fats to keep me level. otherwise i will lose basic balance even when walking. plus, having a stomach condition keeping the stomach settled is essential to make the most of my lifts. I am a lifter that is done when i am done, not when i am tired.
