Animal the manimal
TweetI believe in healing from the inside out so I attack it with massive nutrition. Its worked for me so far. Of course, all the other physical medicine type things like stretching etc
Tweetice, lot's and lot's of ice

TweetAt some point it catches us all! I always have worn wrist wraps on Pressing days and straps on back days. I have zero wrist issues. I wish I could go back to my young self and tell me to wear elbow wraps and maybe something for shoulders lol!

TweetSo u bath in Epsom salt? That's a new one to me...

TweetWhenever I feel real sore , I run a hot bath , put in some Epsom Salt , and just lay there for like 1/2 hr !!!
Really does help !!!
Voltaren cream is prescribed but I can still get it from a site overseas and just a nickel size dab on the joint or muscle that hurts does wonders bro !!!
I've also been meaning to try that Epsom Salt spray !!! Take it with me wherever I go and use it as needed !!!
TweetMy left wrist is going to shit so I wear a wrap. It does the trick and there's no way in hell I would lift without it. I'm 36 and trying to live and lift like I'm 26.... Might be time to let the ego deflate a bit. It's hard though.... No supplement I have taken save ibuprofen has done anything for tendinitis. When I get it it's damn bad. Rest and ice.
"You don't know how strong you are until strong is your only option."
TweetMy chiro says using elbow wraps is actually bad because it helps you lift more which is even harder on the elbow when you take them off. My body just gets killed from deca sides but maybe I'll try it again..
TweetBtw I have it in both elbows, I'm getting laser treatment on it next week. It takes six visits for it to be healed.
TweetAn ounce of 100% pomegranate juice every hour or half hour is extremely effective and handfuls of turmeric, boswellia, ginger, magnesium, omega, etc
If I am inflammed Im consuming that stuff all day long. Eat some pineapple(bromelain) every day if you can among other fruits with powerful enzymes. You have to be a little bit fanatical about it.
Never under estimate the power of nutrition to heal the body. The power that made the body can heal the body, the problem is, we dont supply the body with enough nutrients to get the job done.
Yes, ice can really do some good things. If its a body part that can be dunked in an ice bath for 15 minutes then that works great! After a while, you can start to do alternating ice heat or as I liked to call it Freeze-Thaw-Freeze -Thaw....If its your elbow, go from frozen numb and then turn on the water faucet and get it as hot as you can tolerate, stick your elbow under the hot water for a couple minutes until its thawed out. The ice then heat will send blood surging into the area. Always have to be careful of frostbite. Ive done that to myself many times by falling asleep with ice strapped to me. lol
Also really helps to find out exactly what tendon is affected and know what specific stretch hits it best, once you feel that tendon stretch, then repeat that stretch at least once per hour if possible until its healed.
These are just a few things Ive seen work great. Of course there are dozens of other treatments available, you just have to find what works best for you. Accupuncture, art, massage, ems, chiro or DIY.
TweetHey man, that sounds great. I would be very interested in hearing how that works for you. Would be interested to know exactly what kind of laser machine it is. I know there are different types of lasers on the market. I was thinking of getting one someday. Some are not too expensive and some are super expensive. Theres some machine called light therapy that is like laser, have heard its pretty amazing. Can use them for all kinds of things.
TweetOh, I do like this Kamwo Tendon Liniment. It has a funky chinese smell to it but it seems to help
