TweetYea I use to be that way years ago but now I look forward to my day or two of rest
TweetIs there anybody else out there like me who feels like absolute shit on their rest days? Probably 80% of my rest days I feel extremely tired, depressed, and often get a headache. I don't know if its a caffeine thing because Im not taking pre workout, a mental thing because I'm addicted the gym, or what but I know its harder to get out of bed in the morning and I drag ass all day long.

TweetI don't know if I'd describe it as feeling like shit but I do get extremely lethargic and don't feel like doing much.

Does this happen all the time or on a rest day after a certain workout?

Eventually, if there isn't deep integrity and fundamental character strength, the challenges of life will cause true motives to surface and human relationship failure will replace short-term success.
There is an idea of who I am: some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me; only an entity, something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel my flesh gripping yours and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable, I simply am not there.
TweetI love rest days cause that means its the weekend, it's family time, which means chasing around my little man which can be just as exhausting sometimes.
TweetSometimes my mind actually feels a little restless on my rest days, but I try to enjoy them.
TweetWhen they fall on the weekends and I get talked into sleeping late I feel tired all day.
TweetRest days are never fun. My body feels out of whack and not to mention the mental anguish of not being able to lift weights LOL.
TweetI love rest days! I used to hate them....but now I love em!!
TweetYea I hate rest days but know its a must cause that's when we grow.
TweetIt's a love hate for me. Few things make me feel better than being in the gym. My body knows when it needs to rest and I listen to it but yeah, I miss one of the places I love the most when I'm not there.
TweetWorkout and rest days should be balanced. Allow some time for your muscles to rest and repair.
TweetWhen I take a day off from the gym, I feel as if I lose weight and strength .
It's pretty much a mental thing because I'm so used to being in the gym .
But I know it's def needed and it's an important part to growing and healing ur body !!!
Doesn't mean I have to like it tho !!!
But like today, it was my day off and I took 2 naps, tryin to catch up on my sleep , and I really didn't want to get up .
I love sleep , just alittle hard to get a!!!
Rest and Grow !!!
