I walked into my gym last night to see 10 pieces of new equipment. I had one hell of a workout! Can't wait to go back...
TweetMy gym has been a soap opera since last march. Rumors if closing, selling etc finally closed the old location to move to new spot and of course the opening delayed. After steam coming out of my ears I went home and trained on my home equipment. Worked chest. Had to wd40 the rails on the smith machine and did incline presses. Then flyers on my bow flex and bench on the bow flex all the while saying this is a wasted piss poor excuse for the chest work I do in the gym but by time I was half way through flyes my pecs were pumped and I was almost glad for the forced switch in routine. Obviously wouldn't stick with this method but maybe I was getting stale. Weights and reps still going up workout to workout but haven't had a nice pump like that for a while.

TweetStill supposedly not going to be open til Monday. Was set to open last Tuesday then they said weds afternoon. When I showed weds the kid working on stuff in front of the open doors said they're not open yet and I said you're fu<king kidding me now. He said Brenda is giving people a free week for the inconvenience. I said dude I pay monthly electronically I'm not getting anything free. Look the cardio equipment is set up, the weights are set up, you're telling me the bathroom partitions just arrived, I don't need to shower, just let me in to train. He wouldn't go for it. My son got me a free week at his gym Snap Fitness which helped to some degree but its not the equipment or amount of weights I'm used to.
