I thought about it, but my priorities are so different now. I just don't think I want to compete, the effect on my family isn't worth it. I'll just bee big and support those that do compete like you.

look around man. it really doesnt have that big of an impact on the family unless you have to travel a long way to show. i get mine involved. we do am cardio with the wife. i take the kids and dogs for evening cardio. the kids help my wife weigh my food and cook it if i am going to be out and about traveling. they are all on my team and completely involved. but the only thing is if it takes time away from them then most people cant do it and that is something i always respect people for

It's the time it would take from family. If it was just the wife, she understands. My eleven month old doesn't, she just wants Dada to play with her. That is my focus. But let me say thank you for the belief and inspiration. I'm a member of Team Guns01 for sure!!

i can def respect that man. i was on a deployment kick during both of my kids younger ages so i didnt compete to much around yours time frame cause i wasnt home. no way i could have focused 100% on competing with my youngsters at that age either way though. so i can most def see where you are coming from. dont let it slip away though cause when they hit that 2 or 3 year old mark it is prime time to get them involved in it and the actually enjoy it and learn a good deal about the basics and importance of nutrition and discipline. mine still hate asparagus to this day though at 12 and 6 lol. they will slam broc all day long though.

My little one loves the gym, the daycare staff loves her and she loves them. I want her to enjoy physical fitness like we do. But she never needs to see daddy in a banana hammock!!

haha, mine were ruined from day one from me having to wear ranger panties (what the army call them) and green or black yum yums for my branch. so they where used to it from my profession to begin with lol. it is fun for the mrs to explain why daddy is rolling around in public in either or lmao. i think my boy accepts it the most cause he has always been a fan of rocking nothing but underwear as much as possible.

so now give us dante's theories on max amount of calories possible including forcing cheats to give the most calorie surplus possible for max growth

I used to get 2 cheats a week, never counted calories or macros, just ate what I wanted. If you do your 2 required cardio sessions a week, you can keep fluff at bay. I found that 2 cheats were perfect for me, one was Tuesday night and the other Saturday with dinner with the wife. And I found that on occasion that breakfast was the best cheat, pancakes, waffles, bacon, ham, eggs and cheese, cinnamon rolls. Eat what you want and get back on track. It's one meal twice weekly, not a full day of being a pig. ,

in the offseaon with my clients i have that are bodybuilders i will allow a good cheat after back and legs. i give them the chance to overload on calories on either of those days for the leaner guys and one of those days with the guys that have bodyfat issues. i also only allow one cheat for the ladies i work with per week and try to limit it to one of those days sched permitting. myself, i allow a cheat anytime i want it as long as i have hit my goals for the day which i usually dont want it at the end of the day lol

      Here were my goal macros,

      600g protein
      800g carbs
159-155g fat for 7000 calories a day. It was tough, protein powder made it easy. Carbs are easy to overload on lol.

not much variation from what i have been taught from my people. 2g per pound on pro and 1.5 to 2g of carb with fats as pretty much a filler from foods consumed and essential fats also. when and if you figure out you are a carb storer and not a burner you cut them back at .5g per meal for a wk or 2 till the fat starts coming off but gains arent slowed or staled out. very good layout

Except for cheats I never ate complex carbs after 5pm. So I got 800g in before 5, which was a lot. But the bigger I got the better my carb tolerance until I hit about 47-48. Then my carb tolerance went down so my carbs decreases and fat took its place.

Let me add, I never tracked macros on my cheats but I did log what I ate and how it made me feel. Favorite cheat was,

      2 half pound cheeseburger
      Large order of fries
      Large order of onion rings
      Strawberry milk shake
      2 Twix bars
