I have a very bad back and can not put any weight on it at all, so squats are out of the question for legs. I used to love squats for raw mass and leg development.
Can someone help me with a leg routine to get size and mass with the leg press? Is hack squats better than leg press?

Just be careful on the leg press with your back. As long as you keep the lordotic curve in your lumbar spine, they are safe. Once the back gets flattened out, with all that weight pressing down from the leg press, you can really do damage to your back. Good to have some lumbar support.Good luck!

On my back I got scoliosis to the point where even picking up 40# off the dumbell rack tips my back to the left. I have a pain doctor that gives me "trigger point injections" when needed for pain, usually once a year is all I need. Trigger point is cortaclal steroids given into the muscle around the pain (lower back)
If you know something that will straighten my spine and make it stronger please tell me.
So far I do a lot of stretching, some core exercises. I have straightened my spine a lot but it still list to the left some times.

ya bro, the stretching has got to be helpful. Sorry to hear about your back hurting.
There are many many different approaches to strengthening the back to prevent back pain. I remember an Olympic lifting coach from Romania who was at the Olympic center who swore by the Good Morning exercise for preventing back injuries with his lifters. Of course, it has to be done right and NEVER done in a smith machine.
There is a very intriguing book called Foundation by Dr. Eric Goodman, which has an excellent and simple bodyweight exercise program for the back. You can look up his Founder exercise on Youtube. Man, let me tell ya, that exercise will burn your back muscles no matter how strong you are. Dr Goodman writes that the posterior chain is more important in stabilizing than the abs.
      Hope this helps. Good luck.

I only really like leg press after first doing leg curls and extensions to pre-exhaust them. Then I usually do a fairly high weight and do sets of 30 (10 narrow, 10 wide, 10 regular stance). I usually get a lot of blood flow and amazing pump.
