TweetI've been weight training religiously for over 30yrs now, yes showing my age at 46. In addition to training, i am very active in sports and consider myself very well rounded in a variety of sports including racquetball, softball, baseball, volleyball, etc
My regimen is very clean with lean meats, fresh veg., plenty of rest, water, supplements and inclusive a 2-3 cycles per year over the past 10 yrs.
Currently I am fairly lean and muscular for the summer at 5'11" and 210lbs.
Over the past few months i have been pulling muscles during sports activites. I pulled my right calf muscle once, my left calf muscle twice and now recently my right hamstring.
Do you have any advise on any additional supplements i can take that would help prevent these strains and/or stretching/workout techniques to help as well?
TweetI would get a foam roller and use it daily, after you train or even if you don't train.
You can get one here and it is cheap. I use the 3' one and it really does make a difference.
Product: PB Elite Molded Foam Rollers
Also make sure you are getting enough magnesium which you can take a supplement for.
