TweetOh damn skinnyman, that sucks...but thank goodness it wasnt worse...
Hope you heal up quick
TweetWent to the gym on this past Sunday, 1.5 hrs weights and .5 hrs cardio. Was hoping to see some buddies to play raqcuetball but did not. As i was walking out, one court was open so i went in to hit the ball. Few minutes later some fellas tapped the glass as they reserved the court. Asked if i wanted to play and, as always, said yes.
10 minutes in i lunge for the ball and "POP". Thought one of the other guys hit my calf with their racquet. I truned around all pissed and said "who hit me". hey looked at each other and said no-one.
immediately my calf started to swell and i can barely walk out of the gym.
Next day i woke up and, from my calf to bottom of my foot was swollen. And my foot and ankle was blue.
Went to a sports doc and he said i have a grade 2, possibly 3, inner calf tear. The blueness was from blood pooling from gravity.
3-8 weeks recovery....sucks as i just started a cycle so no legs or cardio, Guess my upper body will get huge....lol

Tweetman that sucks bro...our bodies are so fragile sometimes....when things like this happen I always remind myself at how fragile I am and to thank God for good health when you have it!...Godspeed my friend
TweetYou hit the nail on the head. Don't waist a day. You still have the hand bike and rowing machine for cardio. You also have a great opportunity to focus on that upper body. Everyone has lagging elements of the upper body they wish they had more time to focus on. Mine is chest and traps. Do what you can, then torture those legs when you're healthy again. Hoping for a quick recovery.
