Tweetbeen using the $25 wahl cordless clippers. one of my buddies at work who trims his head with clippers told me about the Andis Outliner 2.
my wife got them for me. awesome! very close trim 2X as close as the wahl. also the dont bog down like the cordless model i had before. the cord will take getting used to but its worth it. no more recharging batteries!
also the blades dont get super hot like my others.
i let my beard grow out for 3 days and used the Andis, it trimmed it close enough for a 5 o'clock shadow and no razor burn or ingrown hairs.
best i have used. if you have hair but choose to trim it like me they are worth looking at. Amazon has them under $50 and free shipping.

TweetThanks for the suggestion, my trimmer has been dying a slow death over the last couple months.
TweetGet a professional one and you will get even better results! Andis makes many pro models, not sure if that is the one you got or not.

Tweethaving my barber hook me up after Christmas with the professional ones they use for fine work.i keep my beard and moustache nice and lined up but the oster clippers i have are only good for when i take it down once a week.i think the one he's getting me is an Oster too but the smaller bladed grey one.those are perfect for keeping around the ears and neck clean of any stubble or stray hairs.
wish i knew how to use the straight razor like these guys do.that's all i've ever gotten shaved with in a shop since i can remember.i don't like these new 4,5,6 bladed vibrating super smooth wonder razors out now.can't cut in my inner chin and line my moustache up.i use a regular 2 bladed bic disposable and hold it by the top.gets the lines perfect everytime...
