nizoral? anti dandruff AND anti bald??
Tweetwhat up guys. i picked up some nizoral shampoo today because ive heard about its effects on hairloss and possibly controlling acne, i didnt realize it was meant for dandruff though... this struck me as odd. i cant find any solid literature on its use for hairloss etc. i did a search and people claim its for hairloss, yet ive been to there website and they advertise it as a dandruff shampoo and nothing more. can someone elaborate on this?

Tweetnizoral shampoo actually contains a chemical called ketoconazole (sp) which helps block dht at the scalp...nizoral shampoo/minoxidil 5% and spiro...if you're concerned about hairloss this trio works extremely well

as for the acne.. i've heard once some time ago that if say u got acne on ur shoulders or chest, just rub some nizoral on it and let it dry.. don't wash it off... that is supposedly supposed to help... never tried it myself tho....

TweetMake sure you use a good conditioner with Nizoral shampoo, it'll dry your hair out if you don't (brittle hair = not so healthy hair) You may wanna give the 2% a try...doesn't seem like there would be much of a difference between 1% and 2%...but it is double the potency...sorta like doubling a test dose from 400mg/wk to 800mg/wkOriginally posted by prolangtum
