TweetHmmm. Ive done about 10 contests and was an NPC Judge for 2 years. Looking back, I know that I worried way too much about my posing routine. Spend your time learning the mandatory poses and less on the routine because the judges really dont judge your routine much at all. The posing routine is really for the audience, not the judges. Once I realized that I didnt need to dazzle the judges with a fancy routine, I just started walking out and hitting the 7 mandatory poses as my posing routine. I used to stress my ass off over my posing routine, which I now know was a waste of time and energy.
Anyway, thats just one of many things I learned over the years of competing and judging.
As for the sport of bodybuilding, Im not as big a fan as I used to be. Getting up in front of an audience in posing trunks aint what I do it for, Its the sense of discipline and purpose that it gives you.If I could get that ripped without doing a competition, I would stay ripped all the time. It gives me a goal to shoot for. thats it
