TweetAbsolutely as there is more good than bad considering they are available anyway. In addition the gov would stand to benefit from the taxes it would impose.

I LOVE BOOBOOKITTY...
Tweetpot should be legalized and taxed. I dont like it but it cant be as bad as alcohol. Legal pot growing cuts into the illegal mexican drug lords and increases tax revenues immediately.
as for hard drugs heroin, meth, coke.............they should be decriminalized and treatment should be increased.
TweetI can give you the PROS and CONS about this matter.
PROS?
Most of the crime rate, especially robbery and homicide, will decrease.
The rate of illegal drug sales and use will minimize big time.
If drugs are legalized, IT WILL BECOME TAXED. (Which brings us to the CON point)
CONS?
Once legalized and taxed, there will be less drug sales and thereby, less federal funding. It would put the country into a deeper debt.
Believe it or not, DRUGS, namely marijuana, cocaine, and heroin, are the countries biggest and most profitable import, though illegal. Each year, it's bringing billions and billions of dollars into the country. This is why the government can care less of the nobodies who are killed over it or die from it. Therefore, IT WILL NEVER BECOME LEGALIZED. Ironically, this is something that was preached to us when I was in LE and going through the police academy.
