Tweetused my brothers trijicon scope on my AR yesterday. we are going to build him an AR and when he was looking for parts he found this one on line cheap. (dont know which model or specifics) we shot at 100 yards first then went to the law enforcement bays and shot at 5 and 25 yards with my millet red dot.
his scope was mounted on a 1/2" riser and i got some of the front sight in the view of the scope. it still shot great. we were shooting 55 grain soft point rounds (FMJ are not allowed)
below is my target at 100 yards. yes 100 YARDS! thats damn good folks and that is with the scope right out of the box! needs to come down maybe 3/4" and right a touch. my brother is a better shot and his were grouped and and left
my millet red dot was right on up close but after 20 shots or so it started loosing its "0" and the dot wandered. we could follow the shots as they traveled down and left LOL
i guess i need better optics
it was hot as hell but fun none the less. saw some cool rifles too. a guy had a 21" AR chambered in .308 and he was driving tacks. another guy had one chambered in a round called "grendel" which i am not familiar
