Interesting day...

TweetMy girl's daughter graduated college yesterday, and due to my girl's health issues she couldn't attend the ceremony. So, I went, and her daughter's father and step mother were there. This was my first time meeting the father, and I really wasn't looking forward to it, 'cause he was a real doosh bag to my girl when they were married. But, I really love my girl and Caitlin [her daughter], so I promised I'd play nice as long as he played nice. I didn't have to do much with him...we were introduced and I shook his hand and said "hi," and that was about it. After the ceremony we all went out to dinner and to party, and Caitlin seemed to really have a good time. Later on after her father left she came over to me, and she was laughing. I asked her what was up, and she said her father mentioned I seemed to be a nice guy, but he was pretty intimidated by me. I said something to the effect that I didn't even say "boo" to the guy, but Caitlin said he was going by the way I look...he was taken back by my tatts and piercings. Oh well, he ain't chit to me, Caitlin had a good time, and my girl was very pleased with the outcome of it all.
