Is each pellet from Component-TH ALSO 20mg just like the Finaplix pellets? OR are the Component-TH pellets 40mg?

I was pretty sure they were 20mg pellets but some moron on another board has me all confused now

Not exactly sure about that one, however, I do know the overall product (th belt) is much better.

All the TH that I've seen is the same dosage as finaplex. I've always bought the fina though and have always been satisfied.

Its the same thing. 20mg pellets. Component has 200 while Finaplix has 100 total.

Quality, Im not so sure. Ive seen many comment saying Component gives a better end product.

      Here is my theory:

They stopped making finaplix along time ago, your buying the left over stock. However, component TH was introduced to the market some time later on.

I think what it is, is that a higher grade powder may have been used in the component. Not a night and day differnece, but a small difference. Remeber, this is actuall vet grade, not the underground mexican supposed vet grade..serious for animals only grade...so the typical USP 24 or better powder was probally not used...i mean why would they.

      Just a theory...

the component-th has an added binder however. this the difference in quality of the final product.

that's just my experiences of course ...

The only difference of any substance is the TH has Tylan which is a antibiotic. It is a blue tablet in each dosage and the same size and shape as all the tablets. Remove the blue tablet and you have the same thing as the original finaplex. Comp TH has twice the dosage per box. Not twice the strength just double the amount. Its all trembelone acetate. Each pellet contains 20mg of trembelone acetate.

You can buy the component th without the antibiotic. It just saves time of removing the blue pellets.

My point was that there really is no difference of substance. Are the binders slightly different? Maybe. But it is still the same mg per mg.

Oh and if you ever do convert fina and forget to take out the Tylan it wont hurt you. I know of someone who did this but I'm not naming names
